MATERIAL SCIENCE
Our approach to stained glass restoration and window construction is not just from the artists eye, but also from a chemistry and material science perspective. With our system of architectural design and keeping the shape of glass in mind, measured elasticity of lead, computer stress test simulations, and a proprietary compound blend in our solder and glazes, we strive to build windows and glass paint that hold up better and last longer! Stained Glass Spot Repairs
- Spot repairs for residential on-site visits start at $55 per piece of glass.
- Commercial and church spot repairs that require scaffolding and on-site visits start at $85 per piece of glass (Painted pieces vary in price)
- ANTIQUE SHOPS ONLY. spot repairs start at $20. this offer is me personally saying thank you, to you and your business, for helping make stained glass accessible to your local community.
Custom Stained Glass Creations
- All custom window work comes with $60 design and drafting fee and a $100 installation fee per panel.
- All lead work is quoted off by the amount of lead channel, glass, solder, and putty we would need to make your dreams a reality!
- The average price of a newly built window ranges from $125-$590 per square foot depending on the complexity and variety of glass used
Residential and Commercial Window Repair
- We custom build every double-pane and triple-pane IGU in house so we can avoid using a middle-man to help save you money!
- We offer free in-person quotes within Philadelphia, Bucks (upper and lower), Montgomery, Lehigh, Chester, Berks, and Lancaster County.
- Any IGU repair has a one week turn around from house appointment to installation. Single panes can be done as early as same day. Parts or pieces of any window repair has a 2 week lead time.
Stained Glass Restoration
- Installation for churches and hidden labor is built into our pricing model below.
- $75 - $150 / square foot for windows with 20-40 pieces of glass
- $153.75 - $225 / square foot for windows with 41-60 pieces of glass
- +$228.75 / square foot for windows with more than 60 pieces
- Lead Channel - $2 per pound
- Glass replacement - $5 per piece with restoration
- Glass painting starts at $85 per hour
